RCT (Root Canal Treatment)

Inside the hard tooth structure, is a soft pulp which has nerves. When caries reachs close to pulp one can have a severe pain. Root Canal Treatment becomes mandatory and helps in relieving pain. Can be done as a single step procedure if pulp is non-infected. However, may need three to four visits if infected. Root Canal treated tooth should preferably recieve a crown once a RCT is complete. This protects it from fracture.
